Work-filled Wednesday

So here are my newest creations. Lately I have been just trying to use up my ribbon. I have this weird OCD thing going on where I dont like to buy more until I have used what i have. I am the same way about food. I like the cabinets to be completely empty before I restock..it feels "clean" to me. So I spend a decent amount of time sitting on the couch with ribbon thinking of ways to best use it. I also try to use it up. I finished all that is REQUIRED at the craft show/what I planned on making so now its all just lagniappe. I really like these new flowers and I am still crazy about the headbands..and they are fun to make. So craft fair this weekend! I cant believe its so soon! I am excited, I am glad that I didnt spend to much money so I dont have a lot relying on this craft fair...all I need to make is like $100 and I will be over broken even (gas and entry fee included).

(above) this one is called "He loves me, He loves me not"...its just a weird concoction...not sure if I even like it.

Like them?

This is the bib I made...I have more ideas on how to make this better..but I need to see how this craft fair goes first...I may make about 5 for the next craft fair..but we will see....
Anyways, enjoy the pictures!

FINALLY some progress!

So these are the famous bow holders that have taken an ETERNITY to make. I have about 11 made (the ribbon may differ but these are the three colors). This was such a LONG process from the wood shop to the finished product...and I cant think of a way to make it faster. I MAY make more if they sell very good (mainly because its the most expensive thing I have) but if not..this is it..done..no more!

I made these last night...while the husband was playing games. I LOVE weaving these headbands! So fun! And pretty!
This one has a traditional style bow.
There you have it...the new stuff. From now until next weekend it will be more of the same. I have a craft fair next weekend! I am very excited about it! I think it has the opportunity to be more successful than the one in April..but only time will tell!

Success!

So I washed the "Q is for Quail" shirt and it came out looking the same as it did when it went in! Yippee! I will still caution to wash them with a gentle cycle but at least it didnt fall apart!

My bows have been falling at the wayside a little because Ness has had his first sickness. It started on Sunday and I think it is ending today. He is 7 months old, so 7 months without getting sick is a success as well. He is just coughing and generally not feeling well. But he is sleeping right now, and I dont hear coughing so thats good news..yesterday was a WHOLE other story..ugh...dont want to do that again anytime soon.

Anyways, no new projects now (im actually glad about this) so now I just need to step it up on the bow making...I have the supplies, just gotta work!
Ok, my fingers are getting cold..gotta go!
